Martvili Canyon is a natural monument in the village of Gachedili, around 210 meters above sea level, with a visitor center near the canyon entrance.
The canyon was formed by the Abasha River cutting through limestone. It extends about 2400 meters, with 20-30 meter carving depth and 5-10 meter width in sections.
In the middle reaches, visitors can see 12-15 meter waterfalls. A notable section is known as Ophutskhole, also called the Dadiani Bath.
From the visitor center, a stone-paved path of about 700 meters leads to historical viewpoints with bridges, panoramic platforms, and stair access.
Boat and river-tour experiences are available in designated sections, with visitor height requirements for safety.
